The 44" and bigger boxes are a pretty damn good purchase. Two of the best "bang for your buck" at HF

I got my stack for like $330.00 not bad at all if you ask me.

I don't have a picture but imagine two 5' tall boxes that are perfectly organized and a peg-board wall off to the side with more organized tools hanging from it.

I wish i had $300 lol. Just get a truck account going buddy. As far as tools, HF rules! But there are some things that you just have to pay more for.

My Hazet 190L, it's my junkyarding tool box
My Hazet Assistent, which is an old example. The "HAZET" logo is lower case which would be pre '64
Doing what it does best, hold stuff.
The old stack
I've cleaned it up a bit since then. But essentially thats my current setup. The two blue shelves are Stanley Vidmar shelving units, you can't go wrong when they were $20 each and are a pretty penny when new.
I don't need a Snap On box since its not making me money but I do have SO, MAC, Hazet, Craftsman Pro, and MATCO in the box as well as the random harbor freight junk I only use occasionally but it works

Bro,
do you even craigslist?
Not bad.. But if you hunt you can pick up some nice old school snap on boxes for that much

That counts. It's a storage cabinet I built a couple years ago.

My new stainless beauty (housewarming present to myself) and my trusty tiny old hand toolbox that I wrenched out of for the past 5 years.

Gotta love the stickers. Any tool box worth it's salt has some slapped on there.
Mine is a plastic Craftsman carry around.

Alright, some ultra-potato pictures follow.
My main box is too big to travel with me, and is currently in another state. It's a craftsman base with a top chest, not all that different from the one in the original post. I've got all my wrenches, assorted tools, and the vast majority of my tooling in it.
This is the one I can bring with me. It contains most of my measuring tools, and some specialized tools, jigs, and cutters I've made over the years. The box, like most of my tools, is many years older than I am. I got it from an elderly gentleman during my apprenticeship.
It's a little worse for the wear, and I love it. I made an engraved plate with my name to go on the front.
Here it is opened up. You can fit an amazing amount of stuff in one of these boxes. This one weighs in at around 60lb.
That being said, I need another as I have far more instruments than can fit in this one. Tools are a dangerous addiction.

"Perfectly organized" was the tip-off. :D

well, they asked for the tool box , so that would mean a picture of where you keep your tool(s), soooooooo, shouldn't you just post a picture of your hand?

Got this cheap NAPA box for when I was away at school. Haven't need anything more yet.

Oh, don't look at me, I don't organize my box. I do almost all my work at my grandparents and my grandfather is OCD when it comes to organizing tools.

About twice a month I reorganize the tools where I work (computers, not cars). Takes my boss and coworkers about 3 minutes to wreck that work (probably 30 mins). Is it that hard to keep screwdriver sets in size order, pliers together in size order, and the razor blades and other cutting tools on the magnet strip that you have to be looking at to grab? Clearly, the answer is yes.
At home, the garage has a big tool bench that's not exactly organized, a smaller rolling tool chest (but the bigger bench is also on wheels). In the basement my dad has his other work bench that's also not really organized. The biggest reason we have trouble working on things together? I'm totally OCD about how I organize bolts/screws/tools while I'm working so when I put things back together I can make sure I don't miss any. My dad just kind of makes piles, and when there are left overs, as long as whatever it is isn't falling apart, he's happy. I put computers back together like that, but never my car, or my bosses cars.

This is my first box and I'll have to upgrade soon as I'm running out of room.
